Robot Character Project

This is my first personal 3d character project from concept to game/film ready character rig. I'm not completely done with the technical details with rigging the treads and other driven keys, but here is a look at him at this stage. He's about 19k polygons with 4 different materials, each containing diffuse, bump, spec and illumination textures. I used images of cracked paint from the USS Hornet, the aircraft carrier that is a national historic landmark. Its role was vital in naval aviation, the defense of our country, the Apollo Program, and exploration of space. I should have animation tests coming soon!
